Wisdom & Faith

2nd June

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you had a good night's sleep and are ready for our learning session.

First our prayer:

We thank God for every new day and every new beginning. Here is a photo of my early morning walk.

Sometimes we just want to stand still and enjoy the world around us with all the trees, birds, people, clouds or sunshine, feel the wind or the rain and be happy with everything we experience today.

And now to our story. Remember I mentioned the bear in the story. His name is 'Gruff' and the other animals called him 'Gruff The Grump'. The author (that's the man who wrote it) is Steve Smallman.
Unfortunately my recording device broke and that's why you get the link to YouTube to watch it there. Enjoy the story!

Did you like the story? Do you sometimes feel like Gruff? A bit grumpy? Or angry? Was it a sad or happy ending?

Maybe you can add another friend like the little rabbit. Maybe a squirrel? Or a fox? Or a cat? How could they make Gruff happy?

Why don't you talk to someone in your family and make up a similar story together?

Choose one of the cards that shows how you feel.

Enjoy the rest of the day. See you tomorrow. Hopefully bright and HAPPY!
