Friday 11th September

Thank you children for bringing in your family photos and sharing your family tree history with the class. We thoroughly enjoyed learning more about you and your family.

Please click on the link below to view the weekend homework (English- Week 1 tab- Friday 11th September). If you do not have a printer at home, you can record your answers on a piece of paper. Remember, to ask a parent or older sibling to hear you read (10/15mins) and  record a short comment in your reading record book. For example, Aidan read very clearly with good expression. Olivia read most words correctly. Sean found some words difficult to pronounce. Annie read clearly and confidently. David was able to work out new words by using picture clues.

Have a lovely weekend.

Thursday 27th August

Dear Year 3/4,

I hope that you have enjoyed the summer holidays despite the changes to your lives and school environment. I am very much looking forward to welcoming you back to school on Wednesday 2nd September from 8.30. As you are aware September will be the first time that all year groups are back in school since the lockdown in March. In school, there will be lots of changes throughout (new procedures, timetables, a new classroom layout) which have been put in place to create a safer environment for you to return to school. Please note, there is nothing to worry about. We will discuss the new changes together when we return next week. I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday morning. Have a great weekend.

Warmest wishes,

Miss Rodger
