Today's science task is all about adaptation. That is how an animals and plants, over time, have adapted to suit the needs of their habitats. This means that they have developed special features that help them to survive.
Watch the videos below to help further your understanding of adaptation. Then complete the cloze procedure linked below.
When you have completed this, select 2 animals and 1 plant that have adapted to their environment. You should then, draw the animals and the plant that you have selected and label them. Each label should point out a feature they have developed to help them survive. I have given you an example below.

Today's history task continues with the topic of the Ancient Egyptian civilisation. In previous lessons, we established when this important period happened and where in the world it took place. Today we will be looking at the life of the Egyptians, starting with their beliefs.
The Egyptians worshiped many different Gods. Use the internet (responsibly) to help, you must name all of the Gods featured on the worksheet below. When the sheet is completed I want you to write one fact about each of the Gods listed. When you have a fact on all of them, pick the one you find the most interesting and do some further writing on this Egyptian God. You may present your work as a piece of writing or as a poster, if you want to get your art skills involved.
