Happy Friday!
Have the best day.
Let’s start our day with a prayer.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.
Daily handwriting and phonics/reading: Please aim for 30 minutes (15 each) of handwriting and phonics and continue reading each day.
Grammar:
English: Re-read The Mouse, the Frog and the Little Red Hen. Read and spell a common set of ‘question words’ (what, when, why, etc.) and rehearse forming question marks. Write properly punctuated questions for characters in the story.
Try the question game below.
Maths: Today we are going to learn how to measure capacity. Use the video below to help with today's task.
Review these words:
container, holds, empty, almost/nearly empty, half full,
full, almost/nearly full, more, less
Design Technology (DT): Today's activity focuses on designing a toy car with wheels using the DT step-by-step model - RESEARCH, DESIGN, MAKE, EVALUATE.
This is a junk modeling task so try to use as many recycled materials you have at home. Some examples include: toilet paper rolls, cardboard, paper and plastic bottle tops.
