Happy Friday everyone!
Today is Friday 24th April. Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny day. I heard lots of birds singing and watched them as they flew from tree to tree. I spent much of the day helping my oldest son with his school work. My other children spent the afternoon playing in a paddling pool. I hope you had an enjoyable day.
Q: Why was the maths book sad?
A: Because it had too many problems!
If you have done the work I've set, you have worked really, really hard this week. Remember, you don't have to do the challenges or all the activities. It's more important that you stay healthy and happy!
Just like Friday at school, today we will have our spelling test and our times tables test. You LOVE doing these - try your best!
Start the day with a prayer
Father in Heaven, You love me.
You are with me night and day.
I want to love You always,
In all I do and say.
I'll try to please You Father.
Bless me through the day.
Amen.
It's time for a workout with Joe Wicks

Activity 3 - English
1. Go to Karate Cat and practise your SpAG.
2. Now complete the worksheet and correct the sentences with capital letters, full stops, commas. If you would like a challenge, complete the second page with 3 stars and add (inverted commas) speech marks too.
Activity 4 - French
1. At the beginning of year 2 we learnt how to greet in French. Watch this video and sing along. Remind yourself how to ask:
What is your name? How are you? How old are you?
I hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend.
Please say a prayer for Sebastian and his family as they are moving home very soon and Sebastian, and his sister, will be leaving St. Mary's. I am sure you will join with me in wishing them all the best of luck in their new home and school.
Stay safe and healthy, everyone!
Best wishes,
Mr Griffin
