Friday 5th June

Good morning superstars.

Morning message - 05.06.20

Let’s start our day with a prayer.

Father in heaven You love me.

You are with me night and day.

I want to love You always,

In all I do and say.

I'll try to please You Father.

Bless me through the day.

English with Miss Tanner - Custard the Dragon

Maths: Today we will learn more about position. These words tell us where something or someone is, in relation to other things.

Can you say these positional words: left, right, above, below, top, middle, bottom, in between, on, in, under, beneath, outside, inside

Maths with Miss Tanner - Positional Language

Join me to learn new words and try some fun activities you can do at home to help learn your positional language words.

Extra challenges to review new concepts this week:

  • Review the turns game to see if you can decide if a turn is going clockwise (right) or anti-clockwise (left). Is it a quarter, half, three-quarter or whole turn?
  • Make and describe turns with shapes, objects and yourself.
  • Move shapes, objects and yourself around to show different positions and say aloud or write sentences to describe the position.
Examples - I put my toy car under the table. I put my toys in the box.

Art: Still life is a painting or drawing of an inanimate object. The object is still.

We will be learning how to draw and shade an apple. All you need is an apple, a pencil and paper. Remember to concentrate and try your best. If you don't have an apple you can try a different piece of fruit.
