Year 2 children will have 3 live lessons per day in addition to homework set on a Friday and a weekly spelling and times table test on Friday morning.
All the children know they need to do some exercise daily, go to bed at a good time and make sure they are eating fruits and vegetables!
Children should also try to complete at least 10 minutes of the following activities per day:
Timestable Rockstars (TTR) - children can practise their times tables here and participate in the weekly tournament against Mr Griffin's class.
Mathletics - children practise arithmetics and problem solving here. Work will be set here for the children to complete. Children can complete as much work as they like and earn points and certificates for the work they do.
Lexia - children can practise their phonics and sentence building knowledge here and work through comprehension problems. Children progress in levels as they complete tasks.
Reading - children should be reading for at least 15 to 20 minutes per day. Please select books the children are interested in to maintain their engagement.
