Morning Prayer – Hail Mary – The Saint of our School

 Hail Mary, full of Grace,

 The Lord is with thee.

Blesses art thou amongst women and blessed it the fruit of thy womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

What day is it today?

What day was it yesterday?

What day is it tomorrow?

What month is it?

What date is it?

What is the weather like?

What is the season?

Practise saying the sounds everyday with your child.

  • Can you think of a word that begins with each letter of the alphabet? (Set 1 sounds)
  • Sound out the word
  • Make a list of the words
  1. Write about what you did over the weekend and draw a picture beside it.
  2. Using your phonics to sound out each word. Spelling words phonetically is still correct!

Practise writing simple sentences.

Open the document below. Look at the pictures.

Write and finish the sentence using phonics.

Practise using prepositional language - words that tell you where something is.

For example: under, in, on top, in front, behind, beside, next to.

Open and read the slide show below.

Then use an object such as a toy or teddy and place is around objects in your house and ask your child: Where is the teddy?

Your child should answer in full sentences - speaking - no writing needed

For example: The teddy is behind the t.v

The teddy is in the bath.

The teddy is on top on the bed.
