Activity 4 - Art

This is a photograph taken in southern Nigeria of one of the most rare sub-species of gorilla in the world.  They are called the Cross River gorilla and this sub-species was thought to be close to extinct with only about 300 known to be alive.  This photographs was taken several days ago and conservationists are thrilled to see the gorilla but most importantly with so many little babies looking so healthy and well!

Can you find where the Cross River gorillas are from in the world?

What habitat do they live in?

What is the place a gorillas sleeps called?

You will be drawing your own Cross River gorilla.

Use the instructions to help you.
