Daily handwriting and phonics: Please aim for 30 minutes (15 each) of handwriting and phonics and continue reading each day. smiley

Grammar: There are 7 days in the week. Sunday is the first day of a new calendar week. Monday is the first day of a new school week.

English: Read a traditional story; plan and write two-clause sentences containing
co-ordinating conjunctions.

  • What things do you suggest the Emperor has or does at his party?

Use and to join two of your ideas together in a single sentence: You can play a game of chase and have a massive chocolate cake.




Maths:  Today we are learning all about direction and movement. We are going to see how shapes turn different ways. Can you say our new words?
