Welcome to a new week.
It is week 2 of summer term 2.
I have some EXCITING news Year 1. Mrs Meho had a healthy baby girl named Dahlia Laila born on the 4th of June. If you would like to make her a card (poster one-sided) to congratulate her you can send them to me via the school e-mail by Friday the 12th June and I will send them to her. You can take a picture of just your card or with you holding the card.
See the link below to join in for our Monday liturgy with your families.
Today is World Oceans Day. This day is about celebrating our wonderful oceans and how we can protect them.
Watch the video below to learn more.
Please aim for 30 minutes (15 each) of handwriting and phonics and continue reading each day.
Play the guess my word game to try to see if you can spell numbers 0-20
Listen to Handa’s Hen by Eileen Browne. Read and sequence the number words, 1-10. Then use these to complete sentences about the story (e.g., I saw two butterflies).
Review these words:
long, longer, longest, short, shorter, shortest,
tall, taller, tallest, high, higher, highest
Refer to the videos below for additional learning on measuring length and height.
Today we are starting a new topic on 'Being Sorry.' What does it mean to be sorry? Go through the learning slides and read the stories of Levi and Zacchaeus the tax collectors. Follow the question guide to have a discussion on what choices Levi and Zacchaeus made.
