Christmas Message

Thank you to all of the parents and carers that were able to join us on Google Classroom for our live Christmas message on Friday. Please enjoy our prayer and songs recorded below. Thank you for all of your support this term. It has been wonderful getting to know you and your children. Merry Christmas!

Our Prayer

Dear Mary, Mother of God, the angel Gabriel gave you the good news.

He told you to name your baby Jesus.

Please care for us like you did for Jesus.

Help us to make good choices in our day and protect us from our worries.

We pray for everyone, the children and their families at St Mary's school,

please give us a happy and healthy Christmas.

Amen

We have been practicing writing our names. We hope you like our self-portraits!

Our classroom has an area called ‘The Workshop’. We love to use ‘junk modelling’ (recycling) to create things. Please save and bring in any small cardboard boxes and kitchen roll tubes. We cannot use toilet roll tubes due to hygiene reasons. Thank you!

Our Class

Our teacher is called Miss Swan and our teaching assistant is called Mrs Cooling. We are a fun and curious class. We love to explore our indoor classroom and outdoor classroom to help us develop in all areas of the curriculum.

In Reception we learn by leading our own play, and by taking part in play which is guided by Miss Swan and Mrs Cooling. We always have an excellent balance of activities led by us, and activities led or guided by our teachers.
