This week we found a present and a bag containing stars, space pictures and a torch. We unwrapped the present to find our new book 'Look Up!' about a girl called Rocket who wants to go to see the 'Phoenix Meteor Shower' in America. We made our own posters for the event. We have also enjoyed making space rockets with junk modelling! In maths we have continued to explore numbers from 11 to 20. We have been matching numerals to amounts. We have also been learning about a variety of countries around the world. We learnt about Japan and did paintings of blossom trees. In RE we have been learning about friendship. We made our own friendship bracelets. Our new class pet arrived- Caterpillars! We have enjoyed observing them and seeing them change throughout the week.
