We are currently in Ordinary Time in our Liturgical year.
Ordinary Time is the part of the liturgical calendar that falls outside the major seasons such as Advent, Epiphany, Lent, and Easter. Ordinary time begins with the passing of the Day of Pentecost and continues until the First Sunday of Advent, and is the longest season of the church year.
Our current topic is Family so the children may be asking more questions about their extended family and ancestors. In our class liturgy, Miss Pluckrose reminded us of what Pope Francis says about the three phrases needed in order to have a happy, harmonious family.
