Summer term 2
I hope that you and your family are all well and that you have had some kind of rest over the half term holiday and enjoyed the amazing weather!
As the school is closed, the class page will continue to be your main point of contact to get ideas for school work at home.
Children are encouraged to do phonics, handwriting, English (including reading and spellings), Maths and another activity (RE, life skills, art, play, etc) per day.
If possible, please aim for 3 hours of school work time each day. This can be spread out and breaks and play are also important!
Please only do what you can, that suits your child and family home life.
I understand that families are trying to complete school work, family and work life all at once so please just do what you can.
I have loved seeing photos of the children's work! It would be wonderful to see some more photos of the children's work and I can share them on the class page (providing the photo is not too large, sometimes the website won't let me upload photos if the document is too large).
All of the details for this can be found on the 'Get in touch with the school' section at the top of the class page.
Thank you to all of you working from home.
Click on each day for new ideas for work at home.
I am going to be in school from Monday 22nd with some children from the class.
Please keep this in mind when looking for work on the class page.
I will try and keep the same amount of work online.
I will be adjusting to a new normal and I will be trying my best.
The last week in Reception!
