Thursday 4th June

Good Morning Year 2

Challenge:  Listen to the audio of me reading the morning message.  Can you read along as I speak?

Miss Writer's Morning Message

Today is Thursday 4th June, 2020  Yesterday I planted some more seeds in my garden.  I added Thai basil, rocket, courgettes, sunflowers, spinach and nasturtium.  Let's see if anything grows!  I'm actually not quite sure where I'm going to plant all of these vegetables.

A nasturtium flower.  Click on the link for more information.

Did anyone manage to get out for a bicycle ride or a little jog yesterday?  I jogged around the park.  Maybe you could try another little jog today with someone in your family.  You could jog for 1 minute then walk for 1 minute and repeat that 3 times.  How long would that take you altogether?   However, it looks like it's going to pour with rain outside.

Finally, today is Hug Your Cat Day!  If you have a cat, give him or her a gentle hug.  If you don't, you could give someone in your family a little hug instead.

Have a lovely day!

Joke of the Day!

How do we know that the ocean is friendly?
It waves!

Start the day at 9am with PE with JOE

Morning Prayer

Father in heaven You love me.

You are with me night and day.

I want to love You always,

In all I do and say.

I'll try to please You Father.

Bless me through the day.
