Morning children and parents!
Children’s daily work (can be altered to suit your home and family life):
Morning Prayer – Hail Mary
Let us take this time to be GRATEFUL for all the things we have. I know everyone is going through a hard time. Let us try to focus on the wonderful things we have.
Thank you Lord for this new day in my school/home to work and play.
Please be with me all day long, in every story, game, and song. May all the happy things we do, make you our Father happy to.
Amen

Story of the day:
Listen/watch to the story ‘Supertato Veggies Assemble’. See link below
Can you retell what happens in the story?
Draw your favourite part and write a sentence to say what happens in the part of the story.
Optional activities to do at home:
Use a potato and make your own ‘Supertato’! Can you add eyes? Can you make a mask? Can you make a cape?
Design your own superhero. What do they look like? What is their superpower?
Make a comic. Fold a piece of paper to make a booklet. Can you design a front cover? What happens in the story? Can you draw pictures? Can you label your pictures?
Build a superhero city. Use objects from your home to build it. You could use junk modelling, Lego, Duplo etc. Can you make a sign for your city? What is it called?
Choose your favourite superhero. Can you draw/print a picture of them? Draw a speech bubble. What might they say? What actions/sounds might they make? E.g. pow!
Make a superhero outfit! You could use paper to create a mask. You could use a kitchen roll tube to create cuffs. You could use fabric to create a cape! Take a picture in your outfit.
