Tuesday 30th June

Good Morning Year 2

Challenge:  Listen to the audio of me reading the morning message.  Can you read along as I speak?

Today is Tuesday 30th June, 2020.

I hope you had a lovely day yesterday.  I was thinking about dragons and I wondered if you know where dragons still live?  Here is a picture of one.  Do you know what kind of dragon he is?

Today is Joke Day.  Does anyone have any good jokes?  I'd love to share some of your jokes. Your challenge is to tell someone a funny joke today.

Have a lovely day!

Joke of the Day!

Why do birds fly?

It's faster than walking.

Start the day at 9am with a 10 minute kids workout class!

Morning Prayer

Father in heaven You love me.

You are with me night and day.

I want to love You always,

In all I do and say.

I'll try to please You Father.

Bless me through the day.

Now answer these questions:

  • Is it harder to say sorry or to forgive others?
  • How do you feel when you say sorry?
  • What must you do if someone has hurt you?
  • How do you know when someone is really sorry?

Challenge:  Can you make up your own Sorry Prayer?  Start with Dear God, I am sorry for...
