RE task

'God has forgiven you.' 

God is always loving and forgiving and here is a story that Jesus told that shows this.  Read the story of the Prodigal Son below or listen to it by clicking on the video link.  Then have a look at the picture of the Prodigal Son. What is happening, what might the characters be thinking? Afterwards, answer these questions orally:

 

  1. What did the younger son choose to do with his money?
  2. What were the consequences of his choices?
  3. What do you think it means in the story when it says: ‘he came to his senses’?
  4. What did he plan to say to his father?
  5. What words did he use that meant he had done wrong?
  6. What does the story tell us about the father?
