Let's start the day with a prayer.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.  Amen.

Phonics and handwriting

Please aim for 30 minutes (15 each) of handwriting and phonics per day.

Today we will be learning more about the suffixes er and est.

Read No Thank You! for the last time. Use the Story Planner to plan your own version of No Thank You! featuring new animals and foods. Use adjectives in your sentences; e.g. enormous dog and juicy green lettuce. Remember an adjective is simply a describing word which tells use more about a noun.

Finally, use a copy of the Leaflet to write out your new story. Remember to use golden sentences with beautiful golden sentences.

Today we will be learning all about healthy eating. Feeling healthy is when we feel well and happy in ourselves. We can keep healthy by eating food that is good for us. In this lesson you will learn about what makes up a healthy diet.

The learning focus will be to sort the foods to create a healthy food plate and then to create a healthy lunch box. I'm sure it will be delicious!
