I hope you've settled into your new homes now that you've been evacuated away from London. You are probably missing your parents so I would like you to write them a little letter or postcard to let them know that you have settled into your new environment. You could draw them a picture of your new family or your new school. Don't forget to send a copy to me too!

As you know this Friday is the 75th anniversary of VE Day and we should have been on Bank Holiday to celebrate this special anniversary. At the end of the Second World War there were street parties all over the UK. Although we can no longer have a big party with our friends we can still celebrate.
You could still start to prepare for a little party in your own household though. You could make decorations and bake some not so healthy treats. Find below a link to the Radio Times. There are a number of programs on TV during the day including the speech that Sir Winston Churchill gave to the country to announce the end of the war. You will not be set work on Friday so that you can enjoy the day with your families. So you have today and tomorrow to begin to prepare!
Remember to send in lots of photos of what you are doing.
