Good morning everyone.
Can you try this silly tongue twister?
What is the date today? Remember to use full sentences.
Let’s start our day with a prayer.
Father in heaven You love me.
You are with me night and day.
I want to love You always,
In all I do and say.
I'll try to please You Father.
Bless me through the day.
Amen
Daily handwriting and phonics/reading: Please aim for 30 minutes (15 each) of handwriting and phonics and continue reading each day.
Grammar: This week we are learning about homophones.
For today's task practise your spelling words using look, say, cover, write and check. How many can you spell correctly? You can try the extra bonus too and see can you fill in the missing blank?
English: Today we are going to re-visit our sequence words. Can you order the pictures correctly and write what is happening in each one using your sequence words? You can choose to do writing option 1 or challenge yourself with a bit more writing and try writing option 2.
Remember to use your word bank to help you with your spelling and use your neatest golden sentences.
Maths: In today's lesson we will be revising our understanding of division using arrays. Dividing is all about splitting shapes, objects and number into equal groups.
Ben has 15 counters and he would like to share with his 5 friends. If he circles 5 groups he will have 3 counters in each group. So each of his 5 friends will get 3 counters.
Enjoy the videos below then read through the learning slides (pages 32-44) and complete the worksheet.
Have a go at the division game!
Science:Today you are going to be weather reporters!
Can you remember the seasons of the year?
What kind of weather may we have in each season? Can you remember the weather symbols? What does each symbol mean?
