Reminders about the school day
On Thursday 17th June, children have PE so they can wear their PE uniform with their swimming kit underneath.
World Music Day: Monday 21st June
All homemade musical instruments must be brought into school
by Friday 18th June.

Class and individual photos will take place on Thursday 24th June.
Children will need to wear their summer uniform to school that day. They will also need to bring their PE kit with them to change into for their PE lesson.
Theme: Humans and Happiness
Monday 14th June- Friday 18th June
In preparation for art week, can each child please bring in a small/medium sized box (cuboid shape if possible) and some smaller containers (yogurt pots, empty milk and juice cartons) no later than Tuesday 15th June.
This week our lessons will be based around the Art Week theme of Humans and Happiness. Children will have the opportunity to use a range of mediums to create pieces of art work. We will also have a visit from Arty Party on Wednesday morning. Keep any eye out for photos of our work in the gallery tab at the top of the page.
Swimming lessons: Monday 14th June- Friday 18th June
Year 3/4 will go swimming each day for a week, starting from Monday 14th June until Friday 18th June. The lessons will take place from 2pm - 3pm.
Children will need to be collected from school at the later time of 3.30pm.
Children must wear their summer uniform with their swimming kit underneath. On Thursday, children have PE so they can wear their PE kit with swimming kit underneath.
No jewellery to be worn please.

Remote Learning: Monday 24th May -Thursday 27th May
1. Each day the class will be set three daily tasks.
2. Each task will have a teaching session via Google Classroom (timings can be found on the class timetable below).
3. Pupils will be expected to submit work to the teacher and individual feedback will be provided on one piece of written work per child per day.
4. Please ensure you submit at least one piece of work a day if you wish for it to be marked. If you wish to submit more than one piece of work please feel free to do so.
5. All tasks and resources will be posted only on Google Classroom.
On Friday morning, we had a visit from Mr Rodger (Maths coordinator). He awarded 7 GOLD Mathletics certificates to the boys and girls in Year 3/4. Can you believe we achieved the second highest number of certificates in the school... What fantastic news! Remember, there are 9 more weeks left of school. Plenty of time to achieve a GOLD certificate.
If the time allocated is not suitable, I would be very grateful if you could contact me before Wednesday 12th May in order to organise a different time.

Times Table Rock Stars
Times Table Rock Stars is a great online platform for children to practise their times tables. Usernames are attached below. Please note, the password for your TTRS account is the same as Mathletics.
Please encourage your child to use Lexia on a regular basis. This is a great interactive spelling and reading program.
