Dear Children,

Thank you for taking part in online learning this week. It was great to see so many of you attend the live lessons. I have really enjoyed seeing you and speaking with you every day. A huge thank you to your parents for submitting your work and apologies to those who had difficulty editing documents and handing work in via Google Classroom. I appreciate the time and effort it takes.

A quick reminder that PE with Joe begins on Monday 11th January from 09.00-09.20. A great way to start your day. Here is the link to take part.

Friday 1st January

Dear Parents and children,

I hope you have had a relaxing break over Christmas and the New Year.

As you already know, we will not return to school on Tuesday but instead we will have live lessons via Google Classroom.

A timetable will be posted on the class page on Monday 4th January by 4pm, which outlines the live lesson plan for the week. Resources will be posted onto Google Classroom and this will be the main place of contact for the duration of home learning.

You may wish to consider the following to help prepare your child for home learning:

  • Have a quiet, tidy area for your child to work in
  • Ensure your child has access to Google Classroom – laptops/desktops or tablets are ideal
  • Saving passwords and usernames or having them written down next to the device being used is advisable
  • Headphones provide better sound quality
  • Check login details prior to Tuesday 5th January
  • Have basic equipment (paper, pen/pencil, rubber, sharpener, ruler) available so that your child can complete the set tasks
  • Help your child to upload work onto the Google Classroom page when completed
  • Encourage your child to try their best

I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday morning.

Mathletics is an exciting and fun way to learn new maths concepts and children are encouraged to use it regularly. Mathletics tasks will be assigned for children throughout the year. Let's see how many

GOLDSILVER and BRONZE certificates we can get in Year 3/4.

Times Table Rock Stars

Times Table Rock Stars is a great online platform for children to practise their times tables. Usernames are attached below. Please note, the password for your TTRS account is the same as Mathletics.

Please encourage your child to use Lexia on a regular basis. This is a great interactive spelling and reading program.

Log in - first name and the first letter of your surname (eg Sarah Smith would be sarahs).

Please note that Lexia does not work in Internet Explorer, please try another browser such as Google Chrome or Safari instead.

If asked for 'teacher e-mail' input the following:
