We have had a busy but wonderful final week of the spring term in school.
We started the week by reflecting on the Stations of the Cross which we followed around the main playground. In addition to this, the children used their problem solving skills and team work to answer numerous clues in an adrenaline filled egg hunt. They also enjoyed making their Easter chick baskets as well as their Easter cards. Great work, Year 4!
Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Mr Santana but we wish him well in his future endeavours.
Mrs Bennett and I are very much looking forward to seeing you back in class on Monday 19th April, feeling refreshed and ready for the summer term.
To our lovely parents and carers, thank you for your continued support and we hope that you have a restful Easter break with your families.
Now that the children are back at school, whole families and households with primary school age children, including childcare and support bubbles, will be able to test themselves twice every week from home as schools return from 8 March.
Starting on Friday 12th March, Year 4 will be having cricket practice from 11 until 12. What a wonderful opportunity for more exercise and to improve/acquire more sports skills!
You may have heard your child talking about The Zones of Regulation this week. We have started to do some lessons on recognising our emotions and recognising the emotions that people around us might be experiencing too. Over the next few weeks, we will continue these lessons and next week we will be thinking about various strategies that the children could use to manage their feelings.

I am sure that you will agree that the children did an amazing job! I hope that you enjoyed watching it as much as the children enjoyed performing it. Please listen to an audio version of the childrens' performance below.
As always, thank you so much for your constant and continued support.
Your child has been given their username and password for Times Tables Rock Stars. It will ask you for the school post code so enter: SW4 9QJ.
Please ensure that they use it to practise their times tables on a regular basis. Remember, they need to know all of the times tables to 12 by the end of this year.
Practice! Practice! Practice!
