St Mary's School will be celebrating World Music Day on Monday 21st June. Please practise I Just Can't Wait to be King, using body percussion from The Lion King for the whole school performance.
For homework (which the children can bring in on World Music Day), the children need to make a musical instrument. It can be as simple or as complex as you would like it to be. I have put some links below which will hopefully give you some inspiration. I can't wait to see all of your creations!
Year 4 had a wonderful week of swimming lessons. It was brilliant to see them all progress so well.
Great work, Year 4!
St. Mary's junior children (Years 3 - 6) have been invited to join a FREE after school cricket club.
The ten Friday sessions start this Friday 28th May 5-6pm on Clapham Common. Given the last minute notice, children can join at a later date if they are away over half term.
When you're in the zone, what can you do to help you to manage your emotions?
Now that the children are back at school, whole families and households with primary school age children, including childcare and support bubbles, will be able to test themselves twice every week from home.
I am sure that you will agree that the children did an amazing job! I hope that you enjoyed watching it as much as the children enjoyed performing it. Please listen to an audio version of the childrens' performance below.
As always, thank you so much for your constant and continued support.
Your child has been given their username and password for Times Tables Rock Stars. It will ask you for the school post code so enter: SW4 9QJ.
Please ensure that they use it to practise their times tables on a regular basis. Remember, they need to know all of the times tables to 12 by the end of this year.
Practice! Practice! Practice!
