The Tiny Seed
We found a bag of mystery objects and found out about our new story 'The Tiny Seed'. The story is about how a tiny seed travels from its parent plant and blows across seas, deserts and mountains, braving many hazards along the way, before finally finding a place to settle and grow into a beautiful flower so that the story can start again. We planted our own seeds. We labelled lolly sticks so we can remember what we have planted and who planted each seed.
Maths
We have been learning about measure. We compared the length and height of objects and people in our classroom! We explored time and made our own visual timetables.
Shrove Tuesday and Lunar New Year
We learnt about Shrove Tuesday. We enjoyed making playdough pancakes. We even got to eat real pancakes! We thought about our Lenten promises.
Choosing Time
This week we have enjoyed the home corner, junk modelling, stickle bricks, Duplo and the world area.
