Safer Internet Day 2024: Inspiring change? Making a difference, managing influence and navigating change online
Globally, Safer Internet Day is celebrated in over a 140 countries, coordinated by the joint Insafe/INHOPE network, with the support of the European Commission, and national Safer Internet Centres across Europe.
In the UK, Safer Internet Day is coordinated by the UK Safer Internet Centre and the campaign sees hundreds of organisations get involved to help start a national conversation about safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.
We will be celebrating Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 6th February 2024.

Safer Internet Day 2022: All fun and games - Exploring respect and relationships online
We had a great day celebrating Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 8th February 2022. The theme this year was ‘All fun and games - Exploring respect and relationships online’, with a focus on online gaming.
Children across the school participated in a range of different activities such as: class assemblies, story telling, sorting safe and unsafe choices and discussing appropriate language to use when chatting online. The Lower Juniors even made some videos explaining the importance of how to keep safe online. It was great to see everyone engaged and learning more about computer safety.
